The idea of collecting Street Art came to me some 8 years ago while I was living in Rome and working on a texture project. In looking for interesting wall textures, I found that I would sometimes happen across stencil art here and there…some of it visually spectacular. So I began to collect. And realized that sometimes these wonderful creations would be there one day and gone the next… you have to strike while the iron is hot!! Over the course of 6 years I collected what I deem to be a substantial repertoire cross-matching fascinating architecture, beautiful textures and intriguing spray/stencil work. Each piece has a Story behind it and few are still where I left them on the streets of Rome. The selection I have made here comprises of a cross section of types of image that I shot.
